It’s Fall Y’all AKA I haven’t blogged since June?

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.  Truly, I want to be more frequent in my ramblings to you and just realized that I have not shared my wisdom — ha!  since June.

Well I’m back baby and it’s been busy, that’s probably my only excuse.

Let’s tell you about some of the goings on that are keeping me busy with Hello Wendy and Conqueroo projects.

I had a great time with the chief Conqueroo Cary Baker at Americana Fest in September.    We’ve had some excellent campaigns with ridiculously talented artists like Mandy Barnett, Bird Streets and Nobody’s Girl.  Check them out if you haven’t already.

We have a book about the history of Sub Pop Records by Seattle writer Gillian G. Gaar coming out 11/30 via BMG Books and you can find it here — good stuff.

New music is coming from Luther Russell and there’s a great new Paul Kelly album called Nature.   John McCutcheon will release his 40th album (!) which is an excellent tribute to Pete Seeger — John’s web home is here.

Recent stuff I like — the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, 100 women where they belong in DC, boxing (not on the TV – me doing it), new seasons of Ray Donovan and Star and Alyssa Edward’s Dancing Queen show on Netflix.

Hawaii beckons later this month so it may be time to share more of those tips.

Until next time, take care of yourselves and be grateful.
