Interesting article about what folks are doing on the web – Happy Friday

My friend Andy passed this on and I found it interesting to see the traffic for the major social and email sites.  Funny, one of my favorite hangs Amazon.com is not on there!  Guess others aren't as busy shopping ;-)  Enjoy -- http://www.buzzfeed.com/charliewarzel/what-people-are-actually-doing-on-the-internet-in-2013

Good time at the Fox Theatre in Riverside, CA

It is always so lovely to go to a show at a grand old theatre.   My clients Creedence Clearwater Revisited (http://www.creedence-revisited.com) recently played at the renovated Fox in Riverside, CA - http://www.foxriversidelive.com/.  Highly recommend this venue!

Good news and sad news

In very good news, I will be working with SpokesBuzz, a non-profit based in Fort Collins, CO on its BandSwap events which will happen this fall.  Much more to come but for now please visit www.spokesbuzz.org. In sad news, a venue in Los Angeles that holds many special memories for me will be closing this fall.  I will always call it "the Universal" but the Gibson Amp where I saw many great shows including my first, Spandau Ballet, The Smiths, Gene Loves Jezebel, etc.  More info at

My new fave documentary on the 80s

Even if you didn't spend your formative years in the 80s as I did, you may still enjoy the new 6 part documentary on Nat Geo - The 80's - The Decade That Made us.  I particularly like Jane Fonda's contribution but it's all quite good.  I am sure they will be airing them a lot from here onwards -- more info at http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/the-80s-the-decade-that-made-us/
